What We Run
Minnesota Multigun is a weekly multigun match series held at Forest Lake Sportsmen's Club in Forest Lake, MN. The flagship event is Wednesday Night Multigun:
a 3-stage match every Wednesday from May through August, $25 entry, 6 PM start.
The 2026 season runs May 6 – Aug 26, 2026, with
14 tracked rounds. Skip weeks are built in to leave room for
bigger weekend matches and life. Final standings are calculated on the best half of matches
you shoot, so missing a few weeks doesn't kill your season position.
Who It's For
Experienced competitors looking for a fast weeknight match, and newer shooters who want
to learn the multigun game in a low-pressure environment. We squad new shooters with
experienced ones. Stages are designed to be approachable, not punishing.
Bring a pistol, rifle, and shotgun (or a PCC, or just a rifle and pistol — see
divisions). Bring eye and ear pro. Bring ammo. Bring
a good attitude. We RO each other clean and we help with the new folks.
How It Scores
Time-plus format: fastest final time after penalties wins each division. Each match is worth
up to 300 points, scored across the stages by your time against the
fastest shooter on each stage. Win every stage and you bank the full 300.
Season totals sum your best 5 match point totals. If you've shot
fewer than 5, every match counts. Your average match percentage (how close you
run to the winner) rides alongside as a quality read, but the standings rank on total points.
To be eligible for the season title in your division, you need to shoot at least
5 matches.
Full scoring rules and penalty table are on the rules page.
Who's Behind It
Minnesota Multigun is co-presented by:
-
Minnesota 3 Gun Group (MN3GG) —
the Minnesota multigun community that hosts larger weekend matches at FLSC and across the state.
-
Action Gunner —
competitive shooting media and gear focused on practical/dynamic shooting sports.
Note: MN3GG is distinct from the legacy "Minnesota 3 Gun" series. Different organization, different match calendar.
